Be advised that the resistance on the '65 sender is different from '63-64, even though they all fit the same. So don't use one from the wrong year.Good luck... Posted June 6, 2008 Author Share Posted June 6, 2008 jim, thanks for the advice,but what i'm looking for is parts to rebuild my sending unit .there has to be a source for these parts,otherwise all these shops that rebuild them would not be able to do so.i doubt that they scavenge used parts.i think the part that usuaaly goes out on these units is the resistor and contact arm.i wonder if these rebuild shops rewind new resistive wire and make their own contact arm?arnulfo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
