Guest edalfa
I noticed a recent topic of an owner of a 55 Buick needing help. The post was moved to the Buick forum. I understand the logic-sort of. What if the person who can answer a question like this does not frequent the Buick Forum? Wouldn't it be better to copy the post to the Buick Forum instead of moving it in it's entirety? Then we'd have a duplicate message in a general forum-just as appropriate a place as the Buick Forum-it just might garner more responses.Ed
R W Burgess
Ed, I've been trying to let a post remain on the General Forum for at least one day, before moving it. Believe or not, the Buick Forums generally have more activity that the General Forums do.Wayne
Peter Gariepy
Also, we typically leave a pointer in the original forum that points to forum in which the post was moved.Peter
Guest edalfa
You know what-I never noticed that you had a link built into the old post to bring you to the new location. My mistake.Ed
