We drove it till 1995, then let it sit in our driveway. I was always going to restore it but never had the time nor money…..SELLING AS A RESTORATION PROJECT TO highest bidder. Car has ORIGINAL 170,000 something miles. Slant 6 engine. Push button transmission. Four door, model 170 on the hood.Staying out in the elements has not been kind to it. The floor rusted out in the 1980s and we put sheet metal down so we would not fall through the holes. The trunk is rusted as is the under parts. To add to the indignity, a tree branch fell and the windshield is cracked.I would prefer to send it out to a school for restoration and get it back…but I guess I must sell it. The “critters” have gotten in to it and the head liners have been eaten up. I get many offers for the motor, or for the car for junk metal…….let me know your bid.1979 Dodge parts and manuals:I had a big brown Dodge passenger car, four door. We finally junked it. Before I did,.. I took off a few items:1) Head light chrome trim, set, one right, one left, nice….junk yard will see $50 the pair, my price $20 the pair plus shipping and insurance.2) 1979 Bumper Guards…NEVER USED NEVER INSTALLED ON THE CAR…..Remember chrome bumpers? These are chrome with black rubber protection ( got to have that protection)………..$20 the set, plus shipping and ins….3) Shop Manuals. These are Dodge manuals for the car. One is chasis one is electrical. Part numbers are : 81-270-9002, electrical, 81-270-9001, chasis. BIG books, like phone books. Chrysler wants over $100 for these in paper……$20 the set plus ship, ins.Car Parts:My wife had a 1988 Dodge Aries, LE version. She loved that car. Before it died and went to car heaven……yes I took off a few things:1) mini spare tire, donut, MAYBE used once……call Dodge and get sticker shock. I will sell it to you for $20 plus shipping ( 30 lbs)…..and ins…Rim is blue color.2) Rear panel in back of the Aries. This is the plastic that covers the spare tire and jack in the Aries trunk. This has nice blue carpeting on it to match the rest of the blue trunk, maybe one crack…….yes its your s for $20 plus ship, ins.3) Dodge jack for car, rarely used…………$20 Plus ship ins.4) Haynes Dodge Aries Plymouth Reliant Auto Repair Manual 1981-89 Front Wheel drive . all K cars. ISBN 1850107025, used, a little grease…….$5 plus ship, ins.5) Wheel Covers: set of four, nice metal shiny covers with the Dodge logo stamped in the center of the cover. No major damage. Fit Aries or reliant rims…..$20 set of 4 plus s & InsNote : I have pics of 1,4,5….I can email to you…may have the manuals, too…..Miscellaneous:I think I have a 1977 Nova rear mirror…not the interior but the side, chrome mirror, used……….$20 plus s & Ins.Toyota Corrolla gas cap. Came from a 1984 Toyota. OEM part….used……$10 + s & Ins.More manuals:I and my wife and my son have all owned and lot of Dodges, Chryslers….all $5 each.1) Dodge Shadow Owners Manual 1989 chrysler # 81-226-9031, used2) Chrysler Plymouth Acclaim Owners Manual 1992, # 81-026-9214, with Chrysler sound system manual 81-956-9203….u get the pair for $5…3) Haynes Chrysler Mid Size 1982-1995 Front Wheel drive auto repair manual, Lebarron, Elan, Ny ‘er, Lancer, Caravelle….really used…Do you collect advertising for cars?
