1990 Buick Reatta Convertible (Red/Tan - 2000 miles)

Hi all,

I am a semi-retired GM employee who purchased their first Reatta convertible in 1990 and drove it for 14 years before selling it to an admire. This past April I purchased my 2nd Red/Tan convertible with only 2000 miles. I am thrilled once again. My question is this... the CD player will not accept the CD for play (probably from sitting in storage for 18 years). What are my options for repair or purchase? My original 1990 had a cd/radio/cassette combination w/an equilizer. Would that model be available anywhere?

There are several places that will do the repair. I had mine done at United Radio service in Syracuse NY. You can contact them at 1-800-448-0944. I dont remember the charge but it was around 200.00 I think

There was only one radio available in the '90 and '91 Reattas. It was a radio with a cassette player and it had the 5 equalizer switches mounted in the upper right corner.

Yep... this is the radio/cd/equalizer combo I had in my first Reatta and I'm trying to find one just like.
