1926pack 1
I just saw a posting on the General Forums board that Beverly Rae Kimes passed away on May 12.
1935Packard 734
I am very saddened to hear that. I never met her, but I have enjoyed her work immensely -- both the Packard book and her Classic Cars book -- and will continue to. May she rest in peace.
Owen_Dyneto 93
In addition to her wonderful work with publications, Bev was also for some years the "voice" of the Eastern Burn Foundation Concours d'Elegance at Lehigh University where she displayed her absolutely wonder knowledge of the automobile. She was also long-time editor of the CCCA publications where she will be sorely missed. Her voice is now silenced, and how we'll miss her!
HarryJ 24
This is terrible news....I heard she was sick...this saddens me greatly...the car hobby has lost someone who helped build the data base we all rely on and was someone I lived in awe of.
Clipper47 0
A terrible lose to the hobby to be sure. She will be missed. Sad news indeed.
Randy Berger 1
She will be sorely missed. She was a good spokesperson and a highly intelligent lady.
