Don Jr.
Hi, Getting ready to install rear brake drums on a 1926 Dodge rear end.Have all new hardware, new springs and "green grabber" linings on. When I pull on the rods they move well. Are there any adjustments that should be made before I put the drums on? Looked at the service manual and it really does not give much. Is there anything I am overlooking before I do this.I had to borrow a wheel puller to get them off and do not want to do that anytime soon again. Thanks. Guest Power Wagon Guy
D-B'er Don Jr.I just finished installing new Service & Emergency brake 'bands" on my '23 Screen Side. Took the better part of an 8m Hour day, not including the Road Test I'd be happy to help explain any procedure or answer questions.Generally, just follow the info in the Service Manual and you'll be o.k.Keep-on-Dodgin'Donn MarinovichP.
