Guest jcc3inc
Blazer,One problem my car had/has is water leaks thru the windows; when it rains, some water leaks in at the top, runs down over (or thru) the door panel and onto the floor. My driver side door panel has warped because of this; likely it got wet and stayed so for some time. I'm making a trough to prevent this leak so that there are no more leaks.Regards,Jack C. Roadster90
Jack,I would be interested in what you are doing. I have water leaks that just recently decided to show themselves in both my doors. Also, Are you not the person whe did a picture tutoral on window glass regulator/s alignment?Nic
Guest jcc3inc
Nic,Yes, I commented on the window adjustments.Because there was too much drip-drip from my UP windows during a rainstorm, I got some plastic molding from the hardware store and bent/formed it to make a channel to fit the roofline. I also tried painting it, and the paint seemed to hold well. So far they have not been attached as I need to redo the headliner and will put these on with silicon cement when the headliner is completed. At that time I can post some pix with dimensions etc for others to consider. But if you want it quicker, I can get data to you. At a local Friday night car show, I noted the Allante has a slot in the roof over the doors to take care of this problem.Regards,Jack C.

Used water hose around drivers window, sunroof, vent area around wipers.Nothing stayed dry.Time for pressure washer. Same as above still dry.No water found on bottom of drivers door, inside drivers window or vent window.Rain due again here in Louisville, KY on Tue.13th see what happens then. Howard
I have a feeling that the leak is coming from the windshield. I would remove the black molding that is at the bottom of the windshield. I think it is just attached by screws. Check to see if anything looks amiss at the bottom of the glass. I would check in the bottom corner of the glass. Water may be entering the car from that source. Just a thought.
