Ronnie
What is your opinion? I need to buy one and want to get the best.
Richard S
I doubt that these things are actually made by very many different manufacturers. Likely there are a few and they are then rebranded. Ron, I also doubt that anyone has really done any kind of controlled test of longevity and accuracy between brands. If you are prepared to assume that brand name/cost is an indicator, then you would have to decide whether to get a brand name universal and splice in your connector, or go with a plug and play. You should check ebay. You will often find the brand name at a good price.
Ronnie
Thanks for the reply. I just returned from Autozone with a Bosch. They told me about the same thing as what you said. Thanks again!
Guest MauiWowee
Bosch has been consistently good for me over the years.
padgett
The only problem with the Bosch is that it is taller than the A/C Delco. You need to fold the wire a bit to fit in a slotted O2 socket and makes it hard to change the #6 plug.Given a choice, I prefer the Delco.
Guest Mike_s
Denso works for me, I like their iridium plugs. I'm less of a Bosch fan since they bought Purlolator, but I still might give one of their dishwashers a try.
Guest Kitskaboodle
I second the Denso brand. Never had any problems using them in my Reatta, Fiero's or my Toyota 22R truck.I got mine at Rockauto (for my 90 Reatta) for only $14.14Kit
