John Goddard
Whether you're an Allanté owner or looking to buy an Allanté, the ACA is the club for you to join. (www.allante.com)What defines a "Classic" car? From the CCCA: Generally, a Classic was high-priced when new and was built in limited quantities. Other factors, including engine displacement, custom coachwork and luxury accessories, such as power brakes, power clutch, and "one-shot" or automatic lubrication systems, help determine whether a car is considered to be a Classic. Though the CCCA only includes cars manufactured in the years 1925 and 1948, the Allanté typifies their definition.A growing appreciation of the car is attested to by the quarterly Allanté Club of America INSIDER and the AllantéNet Forum.
