Brad in Wisconsin
Found a nice little book called Motorin' Along by the Reminisce magazine people. The last story in the book is from a man who was running a gas station in California in 1947. One day a 1902 Sears Roebuck pulled in and the driver a J.J. Ruth was driving across America from York Pennsylvania to celibrate the end of gas rationing. Anyone know anything about this fella? Wonder what happened to the buggy or did he drive it back to York?
