alsfarms
I would like to locate and purchase a rolling or nearly rolling P-A chassis. I am not fussy about wheelbase or original engine type. I need some pieces for a 1935 P-A 1255.Thanks,Alan

packard lover
Alan, I haven't heard from you, but that may be because my ISP installed a new server and some of my regular e-mail is being treated as spam, so I am not getting legitimate mail. Try it again, or call me at (315) 724-8102 (offoce).Louis
packard lover
Alan, my friend checked the frame and said it was solid. Do you know anyone in the East who could look at it for you if you are interested. I would have to remove the engine and accessories and the body. LouisLouis
alsfarms
Hello Louis,I would have to scout around and see if any of my friends live in your general area. Do you have the means of taking any pictures? I tried again to send you a message to your email address but it must have failed. I will give you a buzz tomorrow morning if that will work for you.Regards, Alan
packard lover
Hi, Alan,The Pierce is in a warehouse, behind several other cars. It would be extremely difficult to get photos of the chassis.I will be traveling to Troy, NY Saturday morning, but you may call me on my cellphone (315) 269-6040. Perhaps some member of the Pierce-Arrow Society could look at the Pierce for you. I though it was a long wheelbase, but the wheelbase appears to be about 11 feet or 132 inches, although we haven't measured it.
