Kissel_Daughter
I am in need of some information on a 1927 2-door Brougham Kissel car. If anyone has info please let me know! Thanks!
John Gelfer
The original Kissel plant in Hartford WI is now a museum. They have more than 25 K cars, in addition to lots of other rare autos, and the people there probably know more about Kissel than anyone else.Wisconsin Automotive Museum147 N Rural StreetHartford WI 53027 (262) 673-7999Good Luck! Restorer32
Actually, the Kissel Museum is just down the street from where the original factory stood. The Director is Dale Anderson. Very interesting museum worth a visit if anyone is ever in the area. Also Kissel dropped the Kissel Kar nomenclature during WWI because of its supposed German reference. From that time forward they used just the Kissel name. We will be showing a '27 Kissel Brougham at Cumberland. The owner is coming over from Paris for the show. It will be his first AACA show experience. '27 Kissel Models 6-55 and the 8's are recognized as Full Classics by the CCCA. Parts are relatively hard to come by. 1937hd45
As with all AACA post a PHOTO would do wonders to stimulate new members that are clueless as to how good looking a Kissel is.
