James Czukor
Are the moto meters the same for a few years or are they year specific. I am attching a photo of the one I have. Thanks
Guest imported_PWN
James, your motometer looks identical to the one that came on my 1922 Chandler Royal Dispatch. I have seen one other Dispatch (the same year as mine) with the a similar motometer (see attached). Note that yours has a smooth round dog bone and the other looks 6 sided. I believe mine is smooth like yours. I will check. My Dispatch is a transitional model with 1921 engine and transmission and a 1922 body, Hotchkiss drive, etc.Hope this helps. http://www.ktsmotorsportsgarage.com/ault98/pages/chandler.html
James Czukor
Thanks for the response. Any info helps zero in on the year.Jim
29 Chandler
I believe these were an optional assy. that could be bought from the dealer or after-market. The only thing that would make this year specific is the thread count and diameter of the "dog bone."
James Czukor
k you, I will continue to research. The thread count is 6 and the dog bone diameter is 8 1/4". Thanks for the impute.
29 Chandler
James what is the diameter of the opening that screws onto the radiator? This and the TPI will determine what year Chandler it fits.
James Czukor
The part the screws into the radiator is 2" in diameter. Thak you, Jim
