Rattaboy Posted May 23, 2002 Share Posted May 23, 2002 The lock on the hatch is different from the other locks in that turning the key moves the locking mechanism on the sides of the hatch, taking more effort. Pressing on the hatch, rearward, while turning the key may make it easier to turn. The other locks, (rear compartments, glove box) only require the key to spin the lock cylinders.
