The car was well-kept and in excellent mechanical condition. Since then, I have performed various mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic upgrades. I can go into further detail if anyone is interested. Guest JRomano Posted December 30, 2007 Share Posted December 30, 2007 Thanks Barney, I'll send you a PM with the VIN number. The wheels are off of a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT. The wheel center had to be ground down about 1/16in to fit over the hub. The bolt pattern matched. Yes, that's a blue pinstripe. The original blue stripe was faded. There were actually some sizable dings in the body moldings, so I wet-sanded, filled, treated with adhesion promoter, painted, and clear coated them. They came out ok. Guest JRomano Posted January 6, 2008 Share Posted January 6, 2008 The rear back-light/tail-light was pretty clouded. After wet sanding and polishing the lens, the Buick letters looked very pitted. I figured a touchup with silver paint just wouldn't look right, so I tried some red enamel.
