Guest windjamer
Thinking about one of my early cars. A 1949 Ford. I think everybody had one. At the top of the door panel (Inside) was a plastic emblem maby 1/2 in. wide and 3in long, showed a picture of a ( I think ) future car. Anybody remember this??? Mike Cullen
here is a 49 door panel, 2 door version. I had a 4 door. I thought the trim piece looked kinda like an art deco train... actually two of them meeting in the middle.
Guest imported_PackardV8
Have any of you 49 Ford owners ever jacked the car up at one corner like when changing a tire or for any other reason?????
Guest windjamer
Mike the center of the emblem you show is what Im talking about. I seem to remember it as a long sleak vech. with tail fins. michel88
In the Dennis Carpenter parts catalog they call it (or did call it, haven't looked at one for a while) the "car of the future emblem." I had a '49 Ford coupe and I jacked it up at a corner, what is supposed to happen?
