Powder Coating Gun Recommendations

Recommended Posts

I am looking to set up to powder coat at home.

I am doing a Model A and my primary reason is to do my 19" wheels. I have some incentive to make up a oven large enough to do brake rods and such.

I am leaning towards a Caswell gun. I would like to hear opinions from people as it is between Caswell and Eastwood (not the EW pro gun).

If anyone is powder coating near Atlantic City NJ I would be interested in talking to you.

Thanks,

Kevin

I have the Eastwood gun and it has worked flawlessly for me for years. You can see a lot of my work on my website by clicking on the "LOG ARCHIVES" link on the left side. I couldn't be happier with the system and including a used electric oven, I was in business for less than $200.

Here are some links to posts I wrote a while ago to answer someone else's questions on the system:

PS: I'm going to do a pathetic shill here: if you end up buying the Eastwood gun, can you please use the banner at the top of my site to go to Eastwood when you buy it? I'll get a kickback and it doesn't cost you an extra dime. I need the cash to bring my Buick's engine home! Thanks!
