Guest
There is an organization called the "Cape Cod Classics Car Club," with a web site: http://clubs.hemmings.com/capecodclassic/
Perhaps they might be worth checking-in with for possible sources for your wedding transportation.
Congratulations and good luck! fordee9r (Ron Springstead)
I have heard this topic discussed before and it confuses me. Many of my local club members insure their cars through J.C. Taylor and I have been told that their policies prohibit them from hiring out their cars and are only insured for club functions. Is this true?
I don't know because I am a NY used car dealer and I just slap my dealer plate on any old car I wish to drive.
Are those hiring their cars out for weddings risking doing so uninsured or is there a legal loophole they don't know about? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
novaman
Acording to the policy you can't "hire" out your car for profit. There is nothing that states you can't do it on the basis that a dotation be made to a non-profit organiztion or charity.
[ 07-10-2001: Message edited by: novaman ]
