Ed Solonyka
Can anyone tell me the year of the car in this photo???? Thanks
Bob Kinker
It appears to be a 46 to 48. Is this an export model? It looks like a 46 to 48 Plymouth body with a Dodge grill.
dwollam
If I am not mistaken it is a '42.Dave
Guest elmo39
Its not 1942 or 46-48 , that is a 1949 grill , by the front fender finishing short of the front door my guess would be a 1949 Plymouth bodied export model
Ed Solonyka
Thank you for your suggestions.I managed to find this website, http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/Chrysler/ and from the photos on it, the car appears to be similar to the photo of a 1948 Plymouth Super Deluxe Coupe, however with a 1949 grill. Seeing how the car in the photo I included is located in Canada, this may explain this combination as several of you have referred to export cars being somewhat different.Ed
Guest elmo39
Iwill add a little to my previous post . it will be a early series 49 ,while they were still using the last of the 48 body's, the later 49's had the front fender running into the front door. also it does not neccessarily have to be an export model .Dodge of Canada built these Plymouth based models for there own domestic market as well as for export . they were known as D32 Deluxe or Special Deluxe
