Guest BREH
I checked out the brake test and it says if the pressure sensor is malfunctioning,{shutting off the pump before full pressure is obtained} none of the tests are valid! MY QUESTION IS HOW LONG SHOULD THE PUMP RUN TO BRING THE SYSTEM TO FULL CHARGE? Mine only runs a few seconds, only 3 to 5.I don't want to buy pressure switch and then find out I needed the pump,or an accumulator. My yellow ABS light comes on almost every time I put the brakes on & sometimes the red light comes on also, but goes out right away. Thanks for any help. sahein
Your symptoms are representative of accumulator failure.
Guest
AS Wally's brake test show, the pump runs for 35-45 seconds upon start up.<P>Looks like accumulator is number 1, pressure switch is number 2.
