Guest lvrpool32
I am getting very close to painting my 64 Rivi...have a question though. How do I remove the 2 chrome trim pieces on the cowl in front of the winshield? They have a mesh in them and hold the windshield washer nozzles??Nick
RivNut
The entire panel is chrome plated. The mesh part is painted the body color; it'a all one piece.
gungeey
Nick you have to remove the sheet metal cowl panel..wipers first, obvious screws at front, the panel lifts up and slides forward. No need to remove the stainless trim over it. This will expose the retaining screws on the underside of the vent screens. If you feel something fighting you it's probably the windshield wash hoses. Have fun, Steve

RivNut
Nick,Thanks for the update. So many times the person who makes the original post NEVER writes back to say that the suggestions that we offer work or not. It's good to know that we've been able to help. Thanks again for your considerations.Ed
