backydmech
have two switches for steering column, one has key lock with a flip switch for off/on, the other has a key lock with a push pull knob that can be pulled when unlocked. which one is correct for 40 continental ? have purchased service manuals and various literature but no good pictures or assembly instructions for steering, shifter and steering lock

backydmech
If its push pull, thats good and bad, have key but switch does not make (tested today) flip switch have incorrect key or --- key is wore out... have both shifter shafts so that was a good tip.. next week I'm going to start assembly.
