Hi

is there someone who can tell me for shure if this is a correct heavy duty air cleaner for a -39 century ?

...and coming in from the other side [1938] it looks remarkably similar to the one on my '38 Limited [same engine as well]. Short of having the workshop manual this all bodes well for a genuine and correct item.

its hard to see if this one have the small sheet metall piece in front of it as i´ve seen on other ´39:s.

i should ask him for pic´s from other angles.

Dear Janne:

I vote with Woody. It appears exactly like the heavy duty on on my 1939 Roadmaster. It's optional EAST of the Mississippi River, standard WEST of the river and STANDARD on all export jobs. Mine was originally from Colorado, west of the river.

as far as i can tell it´s way to long.

i found a pic in my sales broschyr and i shows a shorter one with the oilbath sektion "hangin" under the horizontal square tube with a wing nut, and the horizontal "cylinder" is not there at all.
