Guest Jeffn
Has anyone come up with less restrictive intake aside from a drop in K&N? Sure seems like a circuitous route for air to inhale.
inventorgtp
its going though the intercooler so its got some zigs and zaggs. You can put on a cone type k and n, but then are getting hot engine air and you need to wang togeather a pop off valve mount.
89TC-16V
remove the stock airbox, run a hard pipe in top with a Blow off valve and use the stock relief hose from the stock valve in the airbox and put an elbow off the turbo compressor cover and run a pipe away toward the front for more air with a cone filter on the end
cowancom
Here is a link to the bov install kit I use. Also Rick Diogo at RDI has a complete kit that uses a bov from a porsche 911 turbo.http://www.fwdperformance.com/Store/Product.asp?IDCatalog=64&ProductID=838http://www.rdiperformance.com/
