1930 Chrysler 66 King Pins - Help!

Jonathan,

If all else fails, you may be able to have a good machine-shop make a set of king-pins for you.

I had to go this route with a 1955 Chevrolet Dump Truck

(of all things); I needed oversize king-pins, and they were no longer made, and all old stock had seemingly been exhausted.

A local machine shop took the old pins, measured them, then made new ones in the appropriate steel to a .020" oversize that I required, and once they were machined, put them through a surface-hardening process. They also made new bushings, installed them in my steering knuckles and reamed to size.

So, if you can't find them ready-made, there's still hope !

Good luck !
