Roadster90
How many have had to replace the EGR valve? For any reason? I am still going to have to deal with the EO26 mess and the EGR valve is one of the items that the code applies to....
Jim
I have never had to replace one and in all the years I think I have sold a total of 3 of them.
Guest Ranger
I bought a used one from Jim Finn last year. The car has been sold but is still in the area. When the new used one was intalled, the code stayed away. I'd recommend buying a used one given the price of a new one.

Guest imported_barra
I've bought one from Advance Auto for $189 for my 1989 - a couple of years ago. It was half what GM wanted to charge. There were many posts regarding the EGR valve during the same period so if you want to do a search, you might be able to sample other peoples' experience.
