Guest 49 Packard
I'd like to remove the electromatic clutch from my '49 and replace it with standard throttle linkage. Unfortunately, the throttle linkage is part of the electromatic in this models.Anyone having a set (there's not much to it), please contact me. It's for a 2262 with a 288 Thanks. Owen_Dyneto
Why not leave the appearance and current linkage intact, and simply disable the Electromatic? Just stuff a cork in the large vacuum line from the intake manifold, and break the circuit by removing a wire or a fuse.
Clipper47
Just put a threaded plug in the manifold vacuum outlet and use as is. That's waht I did until I found the parts needed to repair the E. clutch.
