within reason, what would you want with it?

Exterior:

-'99 Mustang GT wheels, spoiler, with the stock Reata hubcap emblems fitted to the Stang caps. Z rated BF Goodrich tires

-hidden antenna

-true HID headlights, with Barneycranks, HID fogs, Hella euro-spec lenses

-lowered by 1.5''

-factory sunroof

-functional hood cowl or vents (low profile)

-Buick "SUPERCHARGED" emblems in a few tasteful places

-LED corner and taillight bulbs, with sequential rear turn signals

-trailer hitch

(undecided on exterior color)

Powertrain:

-6 speed manual (RWD wouldn't be easy, so FWD will be ok)

-3800 Series II, supercharged, modified to produce 350 hp at the wheels (at least)

-C5 Corvette rotors, calipers, stainless lines

-poly sway bar end links, cranked down pretty well

-performance oriented shocks

Interior:

'88-89 instrumentation

-Cyberdyne digital aux. gauges on the pillar

-Pioneer touch screen nav system where the tape deck usually is

-Tommy's tape deck audio circuit hack

-XM, iPod, all within easy reach, no fidelity compromises

-hands free Bluetooth cell phone system

-newer GM truck radio module (sounds better)

-JL Audio Cleansweep for line-level output from the radio module

-high fidelity speakers, subwoofer in the trunk pass through door (nothing too obnoxious, more in the way of clarity)

-generous window tint

-high end Sparco or Recaro seats

-black leather, carpet, dash and door panels

-Valentine One radar detector

-good cup holders!

-head up display

Other

-agreed value, full coverage insurance

Ha! I'd be happy just to have a "normal" brake system!

(Damn the Teves....damn the Teves!) frown.gif

OK...rant over.

And now, back to your regularly-scheduled program......

Check ebay. Don't know much about them but the aftermarket units seem to tap into your vehicle's existing sensors and all. It would be pretty sweet, but as the Bonneville guys mentioned, there "might" be a double image, which is why HUD Bonnevilles came with a different windshield

I watched a video online of a street legal Pontiac with a twin turbo big block, a 545 or something like that. They had it dialed down to around 1k hp but could still get the car sideways with the pedal mashed, in 3rd gear.

I think a 3800 is halfway in between being like a "muscle" engine and a "sport tuner" engine, kind of hard to classify
