Guest Kitskaboodle
Wow...what a great time! This is such a neat event because we get to drive around the famed 17 mile drive around Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel & Pebble Beach with about 230 other classic & sport cars. Most of it is police escorted so you typically DO NOT STOP for red lights, stop signs, etc..(they want to keep the train of cars moving) You can check it out at "pgautorally.org"Attached is a pic of my "girl" and a few others including my Fiero club....(oh, and the orange Vette won Best of Show!Kit / 90 Coupe / 86 Fiero GT

Booreatta
Looks like a great show, and it is always good to see the Fieros come out to play. I have an 86 that needs restoring and I am looking for a source of good cheap parts. I need headlight motors, sail windows, side trim etc. The Fieros will some day be a classic

If you don't already know, The Fiero Factory website, and the links you will find there, is the best place on the Internet to start looking for new and used Fiero parts, getting repair work done, and finding information about your Fiero. Guest Kitskaboodle
I always give the same advice for those fixing up their Fiero's: go to Fiero.nl and go to the "Mall" section. You'll see plenty of guys selling Fiero stuff! Moving right along.....how about a few more pics, eh?OK...you talked me into it! By the way...the guy who owns the Firebird convertible and the gal who has the orange Corvette are husband and wife and they both drive their cars to the show together! Also, strangely enough they live just a few blocks away. (in Pacific Grove)Kit / 90 Coupe / 86 Fiero GT

Ronnie
I rebuilt both headlight actuators on the '88 Formula that I had. It was one of the first things that I did when I purchased it so it has been a while ago. I have not rebuilt my Reatta actuators but from what I have read they are similar if not identical in operation. One difference that I have observed is that the door appears to be attached to the headlight on the Reatta but on the Fiero it was attached to the hood and pushed open by the headlight assembly.Internally the Fiero had 3 plastic dowels about 1/2" diameter X approx. 1/2" long that fit inside a clutch type device. They are what go bad and let the headlight fall down. It was not a hard job but you had to work in a limited about of space to remove the assembly. If you have done your Reatta headlights you shouldn't have any problems with the Fiero.BTW, I have a GM "Parts and Illustration Catalog" for the Fiero. It is not the same as a service manual but in some ways is a lot more useful as it shows a detailed break down of all the parts of the Fiero with part numbers. They are getting hard to find. The one I have is like new. If you are interested give me a PM
