Jolly_John Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 Hi, Gang. The previous owner of my 1979 Riviera V-8, 350 engine code R, has replaced the EGR valve with an aftermarket unit. There are no numbers on it. This valve has gone bad. Can someone with access to a Buick parts book from this period, please give me the Buick part # for the original EGR valve. From what I can figure out, there may have been two EGR valves used on the R engines in 1979. I can provide my vin #, if that would help. Thanks in advance for any help.
