Reelhappy 0
Haven't seen this topic before. Seems as if the linkage has come off the motor on both arms and motor. In the middle of the storm was able to see the plastic retaining tabs have come off of at least one end of linkage and appeared very worn. Before I attack the problem, was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if so, were you able to get new tabs, where? or do I have to make some kind of modification? Was not able to get linkage out at the time so don't know if they got bent. Would be greatful of any tips as I tried to get driver side linkage out and fell short on room. Service manual really doesn't cover this removal to any great degree.
Bill Reichert 10
common problem on all Mopars. Dealers can get the parts.I guess TC's don't see as much rain so they don't break as quickly?
car_chick 0
If yours is the same prob as I had, I bought replacement grommits at Autozone and reattached and I'm back in the wiper business.
Reelhappy 0
Thanks Bill and Car chick, got the parts at Advance Auto. Working great. Guess I should start thinking about other plastic parts as TC is only 27+K, must be the age not the actual wearing out.
