Good luck. Nobody wants to do that kind of work any more. They want them in #1 condition but at the price you are probably asking for this one. There was a 1955 Packard 400 on ebay a couple of weeks ago with a $5 opening bid. The car was not ragged out but did need work on everything, the auction ran for 7 days. At auction close NO ONE had even issued an opening bid price on it.

that's a 1953 ? Looks to me the top of the front wind-shield and dash are the give-a-ways) that it is a '51 or '52 that someone has put trim on.

The grill is a '51 - '52 "250 series, which would suggest the 327 engine. With a car that consists of so many different changed parts from so many different years and series, hard to say WHAT it is ? ? ? ? ?

The "P A C K A R D" letters across the hood are 1951 only. Round corners on top of the windshield are also 1951 and 52.

The rear of the roof and back doors look like those of the short wheelbase (122") models

So it looks like a 1951 junior car (200 or 250) to me.

If it is a 250 it will have the 327 motor. All Packards used the 327 in 51 except the 200.

Would say it is a 1951 250. With 327 engine and judging by the 1 pedal, Ultramatic drive.

The 250 had 7:1 compression and 150HP.

There should be a model number on the ID plate. 2401=200 or 250, 2402=300, 2406=400

If you give me the engine number I can look that up too.
