Central Division Spring Meet

Thumbs Up to the Minnesota Region for an outstanding Central Division National Spring Meet in beautiful Rochester, MN this past weekend. It was very well organized in every respect. Lots of great things to see and do including tours of the famous Mayo Clinic, and a selection of our AACA Seminars. Once again we had the AACA Weather Gods on our team as we managed to sandwich the show in between some serious rain storms that had plagued the area the week before. Not sure of the exact total on the show field but I think it was around 125? The Drivers Participation Class was again very popular. One highlight was a wonderful unrestored original 1901 Haynes Apperson. There was a great selection of everything from brass-age to muscle car. The food was great, the fellowship was tremendous and the cars were fantastic - all the ingredients that make AACA great! Hats off to Bob and Betty Ronningen, Martha Phipps in Registration and Jim Forest, Chief Judge, and all the hard working members of the Minnesota Region and Hiawatha Chapter for a superb event. Can't wait to return!<BR>Terry
