Using my book I know where everything is located so when I press the blank screen in the right area I can turn things on and off. Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this problem? Jim Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 The most common item to go bad in the '88-89 Reattas is the CRT/touch screen. The touch screen and the associated circuit board on the side of the unit are a somewhat separate function of the CRT but they do work together which is why your screen and buttons are functioning correctly but the screen is not lighting up.
