james stafford
trying to get my front end right on the 24` touring car. replaced the kingpins and tightened up all the loose ends. now the front end is tight. the wheels appeared to be towed out and the car was still vibrating at higher speeds. one of the books i have says tow-in should be 3/16 and no greater than 3/8. but the other book says it should be 2 1/16. what do you guys think is right? thanks jim. Jay Wolf
On my old 1916 admittedly quite a bit older, and larger tires 34", if it didn't have at least 2 inches you couldn't keep it on the road. I forgot the book and set it by drivablity.
