Guest Gee_Rydes
Hello all,I believe that the GS model was not "stamped" anywhere to identify it as such and therefore I think you merely have to "deduce" a GS being a real GS based on certain equipment it should have.Engine should be numbers matching and stamped LX, right?Transmission should have a tag that says BS? How do I know if it is the original trans?Rear end should be a limited slip? How do I indentify a posi and any way to know if it is original to the car?Any other identifying equipment? All of your help is certainly appreciated.Dave
jartzh
You can look for all the right options but that would only tell you if it was now optioned like a GS. Matching numbers of course but /dual carbs/posi rear end/wood steering wheel ... can be added to any 65.
