My name is JeanieH and I own a 2004 Buick Park Avenue - bought used in 2007. The leak in the trunk has caused a tidal wave of white mold, going into the wheel well and eating the spare tire as well as ruining the liner. Can anyone tell me where to get weatherstripping for this model for the bottom of the opening? I've been to a Buick dealer, my mechanic and online shopping. No one can tell me anything. So here I am. Could it be they don't make it anymore? Also, want to find a place to get a new liner, since I want to maintain my car for as long as possible.
Hello, on our 47 Buick super eight conv. the weatherstripping at the doors is quite bad. I am talking about the stripping that runs at the doors front edge down, where the door hitches are located. It is held in place with little metal stripes with little screws. At the upper and lower end the stripping is glued on to the door metal. Would anyone know the correct name and where to get these rubber weatherstripping? And which adhesive to use? Regards, Tom
I need help with the rubber seals and gaskets for a 4 door hard top (1957 Fairlane). If they are not reproduced, how do you seal the back doors?? Also looking for the two chrome bezeled inserts on either side of the steering column (for ingnition key, lights, Left Air and for Right Air, wipers and lighter). Any suggestions as to where these might be found. Also Brake pull handle near hood release. Is this part reproduced? Generally where do I get answers for this rebuild???
