  1. This 1966 VW Beetle Convertible was brought to us by the original owner who wants to restore it to its “original condition, or better!” Purchased in October of 1965, the owner remembers pushing it off the showroom floor in Jacksonville, NC. This sweet vehicle was the family car when the owner and his wife first married, and later became the second vehicle. It was used for trips on back-country roads to picnic with his wife and daughter in Pensacola, FL – where he was stationed as a Marine. The car itself has all its original parts and only 148,000 miles on it and has been a show car for the last 20-25 years.
  2. I am tasked with clearing out my late father's collection of car parts and need some help identifying the junk from something that might be useful to someone. Any positive or guessed ID's are helpful! I did take multiple pictures of everything if needed - the car chassis do not have a stamped serial number that I can find. Two Model T radiators hanging out (not pictured) - junk or usable? VOLKSWAGEN '72-'74?

    VW Fridolin

Hello, I am looking for a Volkswagen Type 147 Kleinlieferwagen "Fridolin". It was a special make for the German and Swiss Postal Services and Lufthansa and as a result only a few were ever made. I have had no luck searching so far (besides one in Australia) and was curious if anyone knew about one. It doesn't have to been in good condition, in fact a clunker would be fine (a fun job to fix it up). If you know where one is or might be any info would be appreciated. Thanks -Stefan
