  1. Our 1929 Series 65 Roadster came to us as "in good running condition". That was a joke! We now have the car up and running after rebuilding the radiator, carburetor, replacing wiring, correcting bad wiring, cleaning gas tank, putting in spark plugs ... etc etc! Now that the car is running, we can fine tune items. The car has wood spokes. Owners manual says that the tubes were 5.50 x 18 . We are facing two challenges .. how to get the flat tube off of the split rim. How do we unfasten the rim? Seems to have a fasterner in place. Second, the tires say Goodyear 6.00-18 6 ply. Can't find this in any searches of vintages tires. And can't figure out what size tubes would fit in these?
  2. Hi what oem tire/brand for a 1990 maui blue convertibe? In process of restoring my reatta.
  3. I have a 1969 spare mount that i no longer have the corvette for. Any reasonable offer can get it. here is a picture: I think the only holes in it are the ones on the picture, the lid is in great shape.
  4. FOR SALE a ANTIQUE CADILLAC LASALLE TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE that is in EXCELLENT CONDITION for it's age. The Date on the face is Feb. 8, 1927 at the 5 o'clock location and is readable. For more information or to answer your questions please email me at: thegman@myfairpoint.net OR you can view it on Ebay item # 160577790741 starting April 25, 2011. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE. This is being relisted because the person never paid for it at that time. This would be a nice addition for your collection of Tools or Cars.
  5. Coker wants $128 each for a rather narrow 1" wide 450-12 BF Goodrich whitewall and $136 for a slightly more suitable 2" wide 520-12 version. Surely there is a cheaper aternative. Also, most of the restored Crosley's I've seen appear to have a 3-4" wide whitewall. See image below. Where would I find these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I own a 1948 Studebaker M5 and I am missing the Spare Tire carrier that mounts under the bed. If you own one and are willing to sell it, please call 727.692.7007, or email me at marcbr4@yahoo.com. Thank you
