  1. Up for sale is a beautifully restored 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood 60S. Numbers matching former show car 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty-Special The Sixty Special was very distinctive and rich-looking this year. Broad ribbed stainless steel fairings decorated the entire rear quarter panel, below the conical flare. Even the fender skirts featured this type of trim, which extended fully forward along the body sills. Sixty Special scripts appeared on the sides of the tailfins and a Fleetwood script nameplate adorned the rear deck lid. Standard equipment included Hydra-Matic, power brakes, power steering, power windows, and fore-and-aft power front seat. PAINT The paint is slick and deep, a show finish. The car was restored in the mid-90's and has been a show car so there is some normal ware. INTERIOR The interior is a combination of original and restored it looks just as it . All of the interior chrome is virtually pit-free and shines like new. The radio has been restored and does work, the power antenna goes up and down like new. Power windows operate like new with all switches. The headliner is in very nice condition and is original, a rare find. Horn works fine, and is loud! Power seat works. Dash pad is restored and is factory correct. ACCESSORIES Radio with antenna and rear speaker Automatic heating system Six-Way seat adjuster Power window regulators E-Z-Eye Glass Fog lamps Automatic headlamp beam control White sidewall 8.20 x 15 four-ply tires Remote control trunk lock License plate frame Air suspension AIR SUSPENSION A very rare option, that has never been taken off the car except for the full professional restoration (almost $10,000) BRIGHTWORK The exterior chrome and stainless is in excellent condition, There is some minimal wear for a car that was restored a few years back. GLASS All glass is crack-free with very minimal delaminating along some of the edges of the flat glass. The headlights are all original T3's, and all work!! Rear taillight lenses are all crack free and all exterior bulbs work. WHEELS & TIRES Tires are in good condition. Wheels are the same. ENGINE/TRANSMISSION V-8 Overhead valves Cast iron block Displacement: 365 cubic inches. Bore and stroke: 4.00 x 3.625 inches Compression ratio: 10.25:1 Brake horsepower: 310 at 4800 rpm Five main bearings Hydraulic valve lifters Carburetor: Carter AFB four-barrel Model 2862S. Runs very nice. Transmission works well, with a recent servicing. The engine compartment has all of its original components, with the exception of hoses and belts. It appears to have been painted at some point in the past, but looks correct. Power steering works effortlessly and is quiet. There is a small bit of play in the steering, which seems fairly normal...doesn't effect drivability. BRAKES Brakes work as they should TRUNK Fully restored and in excellent condition UNDERCARRIAGE Typical for a car that has had an extensive restoration, but some wear and grim that comes with normal driving. There is NO rust-through on any of the floors or trunk, or frame. The gas tank was recently removed and cleaned. Exhaust appears nice and complete. WEATHERSTRIPPING/BODY RUBBER Most of it is in excellent condition, and it is all intact. PRODUCTION NUMBERS Only 12,900 of these beautiful cars were made and this car is one of the only known Sixty- Specials left with all these accessories and correct air-ride History of the 1958 Cadillac T Asking Price $38,500 704-438-0060 Serious offers only, no advertising calls
