Guest posted a topic in Chrysler Products - GeneralHi folks! Sorry if this has been addressed recently, but my searching didn't find anything. When my '48 Windsor is warmed up, I notice that it takes a while for the transmission to shift to the next speed after I let up on the accelerator. When the engine is cold, it's an immediate response, but when it's warmed up (especially on a hot day) it can take 4-5 seconds. Much too long in traffic. What would be causing this? Is it an easy fix? Thanks!
I have a 90 coupe and the tranny rapidly shifts into and out of overdrive at 47 mph. Is this electronic? Only does it when engine / tranny has been warmed up. Also, my son blasted a Ford explorer last summer head on with my 90 Maiu Convertible. Frame tubes bent 2" left. Still a daily driver but can unibodies be straightened? 1990 Maui Convertible - Old, but fun. 1990 Maroon Pristine Coupe thx, steve
