  1. I've been collecting AAA motor club car badges/emblems since 1986 and wanted to share some of the collection. These are from 1914 to 1925, from Denver and New York state. In all I suspect I have 125 badges. Many are porcelain or porcelain and glass, with nearly all in fine shape. Just wanted to share some motoring memorabilia. Does anyone else collect them?
  2. Looking for a radiator for a 1928 Studebaker Victoria Big Six GH series. I believe that a late 20s Studebaker Commander will work. Also Passenger side door window.
  3. Hello, this is my first time posting to this website before and I was wondering if you guys could help me. Recently I acquired what I believe to be a Buick radiator from the 1920s, but I am not sure exactly what car it is from. If you know what car this radiator fits, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks! http://s284.photobucket.com/user/erikjensen7/library/Buick%20Radiator
  4. Not mine. Harrison # 3123757 These radiators are hard to come by so I thought I would post this from Craiglist (http://buffalo.craigslist.org/pts/4832192761.html) The sellers name is Ray. Can be reached at: 716-783-1572
  5. Want to find a replacement radiator core for my 1928 Chrysler 65 and will consider Desoto, Plymouth, dodge, or similar of same era
  6. Hi. I'm looking for a replacement radiator or core for a 1928 Chrysler radiator. will consider radiator from deSota, dodge, Plymouth etc from the same era
  7. I am looking for a radiator badge that goes to a 1924 special six. I have been told it would have a blue colored background behind the wheel. My radiator cover only came with the cup piece that the emblem had been attached to. I am having the radiator cover re-plated and am looking for the emblem to finish it off. Thanks, John
  8. Want to buy 1913 Metz radiator. Also lower cover for engine and discs. Wayne. 507 two six nine 6696 MN
  9. Looking for a '50-'52 40-50 series radiator. Prefer removed from a driver. Harrison 3123756 is stamped on back side of the upper tank, right of center. I know there was one on ebay just last week. Missed it.
  10. I have a 1926 Pontiac radiator shell laying around that I have had for quite some time. I sold the project that this was going to go on and it's been in storage for a couple of years. If anyone is interested I would love to see it get used. Finish isn't the best but no dents or rust through. Pontiac emblem is missing. Let me know if you are interested. I was hoping to get my money back out of it, around $225 but I am willing to work a deal or trade. I am looking for 1916-25 dodge roadster decklid or 1916-1922 dodge brothers roadster doors. Quickest response back would be if you email me.
  11. I picked up this Dodge Brothers radiator at an auction and I need some help identifying it. Attached are some pictures. The emblem looks like it is an early 30s era emblem but I don't know which specific year or model this came from. Also, is it complete of has it been cut off at the bottom? I wasn't sure as the outer shell does not continue around the bottom. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!
  12. Somewhere in the forum I found a post that listed the exact part number for the radiator for the 1951 40-series with Dynaflow, and what other years interchanged. I wrote it down, then lost what I wrote & can't find the post again. Anyone have that info? I believe it's a common part across 1950-52, but want to check. My '51 does not have the original radiator & rather than restore/recore this mystery part, I need to start over with the right radiator.
  13. Does anyone know - is the radiator core support for '51 - '52 the same part for 40-series as 50/70-series? Thanks - the one in my '51 40-series had the diagonal and upper cross-bar cut out to make way for a super-thick radiator. Trying to get a replacement core support to bring this back to original. (photo is not the part from my car)
  14. So, last week, I drove my '63 out from Detroit to Chicago. 85-90F, 70mph, AC (just converted to run on R134) on full--and, about 2 1/2 hours outside of Detroit, the HOT light came on. I dialed the AC temp control to low (eg, not quite as ice cold) and cut my speed back to about 60mph, and that seemed to do the trick. Upon arriving in Chicago and letting the car cool, there didn't seem to be any leaks or drop in coolant level. And, fyi, I had the heater core replaced last year. Near as I can tell, I still have the original radiator (and other cooling system components). On the trip back (at 75F), there were no issues. Is this behavior 'normal' given the age and condition of the car? I've seen folks mention four-core radiators and electric fans, and one friend even suggested I check the thermostat, so I thought I'd survey the crowd to see what--if anything--I might need to do. Thanks in advance...
  15. I am looking for a bar that goes under the radiator shell of a 1931 Chrysler CM 6. The bar is typically riveted to the bottom of the shell. If we need to we can buy the shell but we are looking for as cheap as possible. If anyone has any old beat up shells that would work great.
  16. I have a used, but in fantastic condition, Radiator from a 1951 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe. This will also fit 1952 6 cylinder Chryslers. May also work with other Mopars. I was going through a boneyard when a new arrival, a 1951 Chrysler Windosr Deluxe caught my eye. I would swear the car was driven there. (what a shame) The car was in good condition minus a few pieces now. It looked like someones treasure and pleasure before the inheritance. I pulled a few smaller parts when the radiator caught my eye. It was in such great condition on the outside, almost perfect. Then when I removed the cap, I discovered it was full to the top (no leaks) with antifreeze, I knew it was worth a second look. When I drained it, nice new clean antifreeze came out. Hardly a spec of rust. I have flushed it with water a few times and barely any discolored water has come out. I think this radiator was installed and hardly run, if ever. The picture that is shown is how it looked as wiped it off. Amazing condition. A steal at $350. Pick it up in Omaha or I will ship it but you will need to pay the shipping.
  17. Just posted them on ebay. Search seller: qualitykitchParts came off an original very nice California sedan (series 50) that had a partial restoration. 1937 Cadillac LaSalle transmission with bell housing and clutch linkage. V8 Engine and dive shaft also for sale. 1937 Cadillac LaSalle radiator with shutters. Very nice! Shutters work great! Does not include radiator shroud. 1937 Cadillac LaSalle open drive shaft rear end, with track arm rod, sway bar and rear breaks. 1937 Cadillac LaSalle Set of 5 rims with very nice Firestone deluxe champions bias ply white wall tires. Tires are 10 years old, and never been on the road. Still have rubber nibs. Steel rims are 16x7. 1937 Cadillac LaSalle hydraulic brake drums (pair)
  18. I am really new to the Antique Car world and I love it, but I made a huge mistake when helping someone unload a 1925 Oakland and I need a Radiator and shell/shroud for this vehicle. Does anyone have one out there? Please message me or if you know of any other GM Models that would work. Thank you Jeff
  19. When I bought my car it had some sort of a Chevrolet water neck. It works OK, but I would like to replace it with a period correct cast water neck. Does anyone know who might have a water neck like that?
  20. Hi, I bought this at a yardsale and I am trying to find out about it. I know the history of Ormond Beach Garage , but I was wondering what the badge was for? Award, souvenir, membership? I have scoured the web for months and have e-mailed and talked to some wonderful people but still have no answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Amy
  21. Hi, need to buy new radiator for 1971 Riviera w/AC. I don't want any plastic / alu applications. New brass that looks stock is what i want. Any suggestions regarding supplier ? Thank you
  22. So my car overheated this morning. And I popped the radiator and it was bone dry. I just did a thermostat on it last week and filled the coolant all the way up? Wtf? I have had the car for 6 months and previous to replacing the thermostat my old one was stuck open and the car never warmed up all the way but I NEVER had an issue with my radiator being bone dry. I'm pissed. I didn't replace the thermostat gaskets because the autoparts store gave me the wrong one but the old ones appeared to be fine and there is no visible coolant leak from around the thermostat housing. Could it be evaporating? Bad head gasket? I also replaced my radiator cap with the thermostat. My first step was to buy the right gasket and replace it even though there is no visible leak. Other than that I was gonna see if anyone on here had any ideas????? Help please this is my Daily driver.

    Pile O' Parts

Recognize any of these parts? From an enormous collection of auto parts in Skagway, Alaska. I hope to sort these in July.

    Help with a radiator cap.

Here are 3 photos of a radiator cap that I found while walking in the woods of central California. Do any of you know what it's off of?
  25. I picked up a Radiator Shell for $20 at a swap meet, and I wondered if anyone can tell me what it fits?
