I am considering buying a 1954 Chevrolet Convertible and am questioning the trim tag. The paint and trim codes are not 54 colors but are 1952 colors. Everything else seems ok on the tag. This is very strang. I just want to make sure I'm not getting a bogas car. Attached is the tag in question. Anyone have any thought on this? Thanks.
I'm looking for a modern paint code for the color of this 36 Ford. I'm told that it might be called "Dusty Gray" If it's not, I'd love to know the color name on this roadster. I see the color listed over the years for Cad, Olds, Buick and Pontiac on Color Codes - Dusty Gray Paint Cross-Reference However when calling PPG and DuPont, and using all of these codes, they can't seem to give me a modern formula. Anyone know of a similar color code for a more modern version that I can get mixed in two stage paint? If it's not, "Dusty Gray" I'd love to know the color name on this roadster. Any help would be great. Thanks, John
