2. My family is looking to get my Dad's 1991 Chrysler TC by Maserati convertible into some good hands. This is a special car and needs a new special owner! The car is located in Houston, TX, and has not been started for 3 years. Most likely just needs a new battery and tires. My Dad fell ill and recently passed away. We'd like to get this car into the hands of someone who appreciates this car and is interested in putting the elbow grease into the car to get it running again. It was running beautifully until it was garaged for the past 3 years as Dad was in and out of the hospital. 1991 was the last year they produced the car and it is one of just 273 in this color. Both tops included -- hard and soft. 3.0 liter/6 cylinder with 78K miles. AM/FM stereo with Cassette, glass rear window with defroster. Leather seats are beautiful. Garage kept for the last 12 years, and he quit driving it 3 years ago as his health declined. If you are local around the Houston, TX, metro area, give us a call to come check it out. ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED. Call 281.358.3516. The location of the car is North East Houston (Kingwood, Texas). Here's a link to another posting for the car: http://www.kingwood.com/classifieds/...ting_id=238924 281.358.2516
3. Both of these cars are clean title vehicles with just normal wear and care. Both Tops on both cars ..well cared for... I was just on their website (www dot Copart dot com) and they had lots and lots of nice clean title classic cars they were auctioning every week. They even have a separate section for Classics. Yes they have a bunch of parts and salvage cars their too but a majority of the classics were clean title really nice cars. Both of the Chryslerati's have clean titles and Here is another example ...a 48 Dodge Custom that looked really nice and if the pre bidding is anything to go on then these cars sell for cheap. Just thought I would finally add something instead of just being a lurker :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool: Here is a link to one of them: http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e7s1&lotId=22179724&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS
4. Hi all, I've recently joined the forum after buying a 89 TC. I've done a bunch of searching on aftermarket speaker and radio installs and haven't had luck finding threads with pics. I'm going to buy a dash kit w/ harness to handle the radio. I'm planning on buying 5.25 components for the doors and placing the tweeters where the dash speakers go. I'm most likely going with a set of 5.25 speakers and a set of 6 inch speakers in the back and two ten inch subwoofers. I've already bought a 4 channel amp and two ten inch subwoofers. I already have a pioneer cd player and a amp for the two tens + all wiring minus the rca's, so I guess all I have left to order are the inside speaker sets and the dash kit. I'll be making my mind up on which ones to get sometime this weekend when my wife isn't looking Okay so this is what I'm thinking.. I really would hate for something to happen to the interior while doing the upgrades and would really appreciate any insight on how to access everything. I'm sure I could figure it out on my own, but I would like the help of the forum. In return I'll take plenty of pics to be saved for future reference. Any help is appreciated. If the speakers get here by next weekend I'll do it then, if not it will most likely be the following week. Jay S.
5. Close to pristine 89 TC by Maserati. -Red with brown leather interior. Custom made in Modena, Italia. -Brand new Battery, Alternator, front axle, brakes and tires. Close to 3k invested. (All receipts on hand) -49,XXX miles -Never any engine trouble. Drove it to Miami and back in one day with no problems whatsoever. -Removable Hard-top -Only down point is the driver side rear tail light is not present. The light works, but the cover is broken. and the leather in the center console is torn. But.. -Repair of all flaws is contingent upon a full offer. -Comes with an array of different cassette tapes from the original owner! I'll also throw in a cassette to iPod device. The only reason I'm selling this car is because I'm a college student with more important things to spend (and save) my money on. This car is a joy to drive, don't take my word for it, but I believe it gets around 200 HP, it has a turbocharged V6 engine. Feels amazing to lay your foot hard down on the gas. It's a shame to sell this car, so my offer is negotiable, but mostly firm. I bought the car for 9k a little over a year ago. I am the second owner. I literally have people come up to me all the time and tell me how much they like it, and how rare and collectible it is. Email me for pictures! Call/Text/email me at 540-462-7167 or indigochild93@hotmail.com
6. Red convertible with hard top, Excellent condition all original with Mitsubishi V-6 engine 53,000 miles - $12,000 obo Car is in North Florida
7. I'm selling my '89 Maserati TC, 50,000 miles, very clean car for BEST REASONABLE OFFER. The car is complete and in excellent shape as can be seen by the pictures. Very minimal rust, I've attached a picture of one of the rocker panels to show how clean it is. The car is not running at present. There is a badly stripped spark plug hole that had a broken spark plug and e-z out stuck in it, both have been drilled out and removed thus the damage. The spark plug hole may be repairable using a Time_Sert plug insert but this is not guaranteed. All the work has been done to remove the cylinder head with the exception of unbolting the turbo and oil line and removing the throttle cable and valve cover. All parts removed have been bagged and when possible all screws and bolts were placed back in their original location. I also have pictures of most of the disassembly process as well as a good collection of related pictures and literature. Any other parts removed are similarly bagged or carefully wrapped. When I first got the car I made sure the motor turned over which it did with no problem. Radio, power seats, power antenna all work. I didn't test much else. Please ask any questions. Car is located in the Albany, NY area. BEST REASONABLE OFFER GETS THE CAR (I'M NOT LOOKING FOR A LOT OF MONEY) Here are a bunch of pictures (excuse the dust on the car):
