  1. This pic is of my great grandfather William A. Withers and his family, taken in Elizabethtown PA in the early 1900s. I'm told the car is a Locomobile but have had no luck identifying the year of the car. Any help?
  2. I edit and publish the Steam Automobile Bulletin. We have been asked about this car, but we are not the last word in automotive history. The car is well documented. It was the first car in Stillwater, Minnesota, maintained but not ever restored, etc. It runs fine. The second owner (since 1930) maintained the car and drove it frequently. His wife put a ramp so it could be kept in the front parlor in the winter. The son-in-law has phoned and written and we will be publishing a two page photo article in a week or so.
  3. Hi I own some of a 1902 type 2 steam locomobile. I however do not have a chassis or rear axle. Is anyone able to help? If you have any steam locomobile parts or know of anyone who is interested to sell please contact me. Thank you
  4. I have a several Floyd Clymer books for sale. If you are looking for something in particular let me know. I might have it in my collection. Floyd Clymer's Historical Catalog of 1909 Cars | eBay
  5. I am hoping someone can help provide me some information and value regarding an air gauge that I have. It is approximately 2 1/2" in diameter and 7/8" deep. The gauge is inscribed "The Locomobile Co. of America". "Locomobile is red and the other wording is black. The dial registers a range of 0 to 160. It appears to have the original beveled glass and is nickel plated. There is no visual damage albeit the nickel plating appears thin in some areas. It was manufactured by the Standard Gauge Manufacturing Co. Any help that you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
  6. I need a few parts to complete the restoration of a 1917 Model 48! I need 4 lifters and I also need the 11 bolt housing that covers the timing gears and crankshaft thrust bearing in the front of the crankcase. Does anyone know of anyn parts for these available?
