A few years ago I got this car (pictures at a later time) with my grandfather as my project car as family tradition is to get a project car. I fell in love with it: big back window, boat of a car, four door, long fins, unique, and chrome. This was somebody else's failed project. This car has gotten bigger as i see how much work and money it is, gave up on it for two years until i was ready. Rear end is completely done with checked out differential, engine removed, front suspension off and some other small things. Have 2 GM NOS Heater Control Lever Slides For Sale. According to my research they are listed for '64 and '65 Chevelle and '64 Impala. The way I understand it, is they are part of a GM #3000181 Heater Control Assembly. The #3000181 is on the box, but the individual number on the part is 3000176. This car is a 1979 Chevrolet Impala 2-door that was originally purchased by the Nebraska State Highway Patrol. It is equipped with 9C-1 Police Package, which included, among other things: Station wagon suspension and wheels (large bolt pattern), Heavy duty stabilizer bars, 350 4-barrel, Deluxe trunk package, spotlight, extra dome light, lock-out of 1st gear, positrac rear axle, split bench front seat with station wagon upholstery, and a lock throttle.
