  1. 1921 Hudson Super Six Speedster Phaeton. Very attractive close-coupled Fisher body with dual rear spares. Thorough engine rebuild $6K+ by Goyette Restoration of Bennington, VT. Goes like a train. Older repaint and new Haartz cloth top. Believed originally used as a San Francisco police car prior to acquisition by 20th Century Fox Studios. Subsequently acquired by Harrah's then to noted Hudson collector Bill Nichols of Orinda, CA. It is the only known Hudson of this era with air shocks. A Locomobile Sportif for a fraction of the price! $31,500 OBO. Located in Connecticut. Contact eric@pixacar.c

  4. Currently we are prepping 2 1933 Essex 8 Terraplane coupes for sale . These are from an estate with one being an older amature restoration . Great running and looking rust free car . The second is a complete but partially disassembled car . It is rust free with original interior and cleaned and primed body and frame . Engine and drive train are cleaned and painted looking like new but with no history . One mystery is that the ID plates have been removed and misplaced . So , although they are both titled , I believe I will need a corresponding identification on the car . So , one big question
  5. Too many projects going on, not enough storage! Location Midland, Michigan. I've decided to try and sell my 1936 Terraplane. This is a true survivor. Very solid car, spent decades stored in an Iowa barn, I am the third owner. The previous owner took out the front door glass for replacement. All the glass is delaminating and needs replacement. The car has the rare full hubcaps (missing one). Original interior, original paint that cleaned up well in the few spots I tested, equiped with the electric hand column shifter. The car is not running at this time, the previous owner removed the engine ou
  6. 47 Commodore Eight 174 sedan. One of the best out there. Restored in 1989 but looks like it was last year. In a private collection until I bought it in 2003. Rarely driven until then. Recent rebuild of its original engine. Factory overdrive car, at ease at 65 mph. More photos available via email. $23,500. Park Waldrop, Rock Hill SC. (803) 327-3929, pwald@comporium.net.

  8. Hi All, Found this emblem mixed in with stuff I got from an estate sale. Anyone know what year or model car this Hudson Emblem came off. It looks to be brass with the Blue painted insignia. Any help is appreciated!
  9. When I attempt to research the '12 Hudson speedsters I come up with several cars from 1911 and a few thoughts on cars into 1913 and 14. Is there a serial number range that a true 1912 Mile-a-Minute must fall into? Where is that number found on the car? Is the plated equipment necessarily brass or nickel? Tire and wheel specifications? Other facts please that you would add to this knowledge base...... Thank you.
  10. I am trying to locate the owner of this 1912 Hudson. I talked to him at a car show some time back but have misplaced his contact information. I believe he was from Apple Valley, Minnesota. I was told that the car was at the 2009 Hudson Essex Terraplane Nationals.
  11. We recently discovered in a remote region a large number of old cars. One of the treasures is a 1957 Hudson 4 dr Hornet produced just before the factory closed and the Hudson marque was lost forever (June 25, 1957). We hope someone will want this car for a restoration project or as a donor. Characteristics: large V8 by AMC; 4 bbl carbureator; dual exhaust; characteristic twin fin chromium trim on front fenders V; designed by Richard Arbib, which resulted in the "V-Line" styling motif of the company; tricolor paint; good glass; good body (rust on rear fascia that we can fix in our body shop i
  12. We recently found in a remote site several Hudsons useful for restoration or as donor cars. One of the better ones discovered so far is a 1955 Hudson Hornet 4 dr that runs and drives. Good body but missing some glass. Between 1951 and 55 the Hudson Hornet accounted for 40 NASCAR wins. We hope someone will take this example home and restore it. Pick up in Denver or we can arrange shiipping. $3500.
  13. We have come into a very large store of cars in an isolated community and many of them are restorable or good donors and of contemporary interest. It is early yet but so far we have a number of Hudsons, Ramblers, AMCs, Packards and many other makes- some old and some from 60s and 70s. To preserve these examples a local Denver body shop will sell them, transport them and fix any damage if needed. We have initial photos and are making more. The entire lot is for sale. Examples below. Let us know your needs and we will see if we can fill them. Doc Lipton (Jim) doc_lipton@yahoo.com
