  4. This is a complete grille set up for a 1940 Mercury all models. It consist of a Right & Left halve and also includes the center "spear" These parts are extremely rare, especially as complete set. They are vintage and made of cast aluminum with part numbers stamped in right and left hand sides. All bars are straight and no broken bars. We just traded for a 1964 ford econoline truck that a friend of mine wanted but after I traded for it his wife said no way......so no its for sale..The truck has had over 80% restored before its previous owner passed away.... It is a very solid truck with no rusted panels or floor pans...Has been painted from the top down just needs the bottom half finished and the finishing touches and she will be ready for any show or really nice daily driver. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU NEED Car has 44k original miles on it, I is very complete no rust through that I can find (only rust is in spare tire well). Has Straight 6, Tip Toe automaitc Tranny,Factory Grille, would make a great restoration candidate.   15. A quick introduction I have been working in the restoration and hot rod field for 16 years and have spent the last ten with Custom Auto. The Marine Corps gave me my start in the sheet metal trade and from their went to school at McPherson College. was fortunate enough to be able to take an apprenticeship with Ron Fournier in Michigan, and then on to Colorado. I am sheet metal shaper by trade and still love my job. The Custom Auto crew has gotten 2010 off to a great start.
