Hi all, I am fairly new to the forum and own a 66 riviera for one year now. My car's hideaway motor do not operate with the light knob (i.e. on:lowers off:retracts), the motor however lowers/retracts headlights manually through a seperate switch fitted on the dash. So basically i have to switch on the lights and lower them from that seperate switch. Now i want to get the hideway lights operation back to its original state. Any ideas of the parts i will need getting checked and replaced?
I have a 1937 plymouth 4 door sedan. The high beam indicator is in the light switch knob.Of course the knob wont stay on. When it is working right it looks as though you release it with a small slotted screw driver.Does anybody have any ideas on the best way to keep the knob attached? Thanks Lew
I need to remove and repair my speedometer. Also, my dash lights don't work. How does the switch pull out? Everything I have read says the button beneath with the spring should be pressed in and the switch center should pull out. It has to be all the way in when pressed. OK, I cannot get it to come out. Any help would be appreciated. -= Don =-
Still looking for a headlight switch for my 60 Adventurer. Also been shopping for 14" chrome wire wheels. Found a place in Calif who claims to sell them for $400.00 a set. (Wheel Boyz) Anyone ever hear of them or know anything about this outfit? Thanks
