  2. Hello. I was wondering if anyone could identify what year and model of automobile this headlamp is for (if any). From what I gather, Corcoran began producing automobile headlamps in 1905. This is similar to one that I've seen identified for Buicks, but this one is longer. I don't believe the Ford Model T used Corcoran lamps until 1914, at which time they were steel with brass trim. Overall length is 8 1/4 inches, outside diameter of the door is 7 1/2 inches, and fork width center to center is approximately 7 1/8 inches. Thank you!
  3. A few more pictures added below: 1 Pair - Guide Ray Headlamps Drum Style. Type - A Believed to be from a 1926 Peerless sedan. Very good condition. Little Rust. Bulbs and Lenses are intact. 4. I inherited these antique Case Headlights from my dad. He kept them for years wanting to find someone restoring the auto the belong to. Can anyone help me identify wether this was a car, or truck and approximate year please? I would also be interested in thoughts as to what they would be worth to someone restoring this kind of vehicle. I also have a take that held the compressed gas that powered the headlights, whatever that gas was. I am happy to take more pictures as needed. Thanks, Duane

  13. Hello all, Got a 1977 (well, mostly 77 - front end is from a 78) Riviera I've been working on... the issue I've run into is that the headlamp retainer springs are rusted out, so the headlights can't be adjusted properly. Now, I've dug through a salvage yard and found that most retainer springs are held in place by the "tail" of the spring itself - these, though, are held in place by a hex-head screw through the middle of the spring, into the plastic fascia  . Anybody know of any other car that uses this arrangement, or what the original GM replacement part # might be, or anything else that might help me out with this? Thanks!
  14. I Would Like to know if anyone has a good idea what these came off of. The lens ia a Tiltray 10" GL-191 and says it is for a Mazda 1110. The housing itself is stamped Tiltray at the top. From the information i can gather thus far I beleive it to be from a 1929 Dodge or 1930 Chevy but have nothing to back that theory up other than candor. The housings are brass and are attatched to the steel mounts with 6 copper rivets. As seen from the photos the round bar that linked the two has been roughly sawn off, and i beleive the metal mounted the to bottom to be pieces of the original fender. The bulb inside is ripled, and marked Mazda with a GE symbol but nothing else is legible. Any help would be benificial, I am trying to clean up some things around the shop to fund my other projects and this old barn find has to go
